The creative comms powerhouse has acquired a new Glasgow creative hub in Merchant City
In a major expansion, Media Zoo has purchased nearly 6,600 sq. ft. of creative office/studio space in Glasgow’s imposing 19th Century former County Buildings and Courthouses. The firm claimed that the Merchant City’s “vibrant young workforce and dynamic leisure scene” was a major draw for a leading communications company.
Following the disposal, a further floor at the building is currently being refurbished to provide nearly 7,000 sq. ft. of high quality air conditioned space on the second floor. A refurbished entrance will further enhance the appeal of this space.
The modern office developed behind the magnificent sandstone façade of the Old Sheriff Court provides a “functional yet quirky” work space well suited for modern digital companies.
