In Glasgow, 20,400 people work for local, national and international creative organisations which is 27% of total employment from Creative Industries (including digital) in Scotland (Scottish Government 2016).

There are around 3,700 higher education creative arts students with over 1,000 graduating each year.  There are 1,700 studying computing science with 460 graduating each year  (Source: HESA).

The further education colleges teach nearly 7,000 in creative arts and media and publishing  (Source: SFC).
