GC Exchange Limited (GCEX) is the latest international technology firm to arrive in Glasgow.
With offices in London and Switzerland, the fintech company is creating 26 real living wage jobs in Glasgow to support its global growth.
The company has already identified premises in the city and recruitment is underway ahead of officially opening in Glasgow later this year. The new roles include positions in operations, customer support and development. Working with Skills Development Scotland (SDS), GCEX will access the talent available in the Glasgow City Region.
GCEX joins a thriving tech and financial community in Scotland, which is the UK’s largest financial centre after London. Scotland’s fintech sector is expected to create 15,000 roles over the next 10 years bolstered by fintech degree courses, including those at the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde.
